Posted - 06/02/2008 : 18:28:21 I have looked around the internet and, I have seen all the bad comments about Worldwide and, I am here to set the record straight once and, for all.
The 3 day 2 night vacations are strictly timeshare vacations. If you do not agree to take the tour you simply do not get the vacation. The problem is that the customers are not aware of this due to the fact that it is not stated on the certificate. From what I have been told they are in the process of reprinting the 3 day 2 night certificates with it clearly written that they must take the tour in order to recieve the vacation.
I do not know what genis thought that they could get away with just sending the customer back the form stating that something was not properly filled out so, that the customer would not bother resubmitting it but, it was just not a great idea to have done it because, look at all the bad comments that it has caused.
That being said if you recieve a 3 day 2 night vacation...Please do yourself a favor and, just dump it in the trash unless you are willing to sit through a timeshare tour then it is basically worthless.
Only deal with Worldwide for their Condos and, Cruises.
I hope this helps!
